Parks

Where nature grows luxuriantly proving the particularly mild climate of the lakes, we find unique natural parks where the landscape and tranquillity are sovereign.

The Mottarone, is a one of a kind mountain between the Lake Maggiore, Orta and Mergozzo. Its orographic shape allows us to spread at 360° from the plain of the Po to the top of the Alps.
The visitor's eye is captured by the top of (mount) Monte Rosa and by the seven lakes (lake Maggiore, lake Mergozzo, lake Varese, lake d'Orta, lake Comabbio, lake Monate, lake Biandronno) that are placed in a natural crib at its feet giving the impression that they can be grabbed by an imaginary hand.
The Mottarone can be reached by following the road that goes up from lake Orta, the one going up from Lake Maggiore or you can take the cableway that leaves from Stresa.
The Mattarone is not only fantastic to view, but it is a land where you can have fun in every season. You can do different sports, like skiing, mountain bike, trekking, paragliding or treat yourself in a restaurant that offers typical local dishes.
