PRESENTATION OF THE TOURIST UNION

"Terra dei Laghi"(Land of Lakes) - Consorzio Turistico (Tourist union) Laghi Maggiore, Orta and Mergozzo is an association that was founded in 2002. The idea for this project came from a few young entrepreneurs who love their home land and have been working in the tourist sector for some time. They have the desire, the will to promote improve and encourage tourism, commercial activities and handcrafts in the beautiful area of Lake Maggiore, Lake d’Orta, Lake of Mergozzo and the Ossolane Valleys.

 Terra dei Laghi can be considered as one of the few Inter-provincial unions in the region of Piedmont that aims to develop and create new ideas for tourists by presenting itself as a referral point for operators of the tourist sector. It works in a dynamic way, keeping in mind the needs that tourism has and it evolves with it, in a territory that can in an environmental and cultural context, be considered as one of the most important at an international level.

Terra dei Laghi intends to offer through its many associates different types of services with a constant collaboration that widens the concept of a tourist’s package offering itself to clients as a Confidential Partner:

- to book any type of service for tourists;

- organise congresses, workshops, meetings, conventions, company presentations, special events, formal ceremonies guaranteeing professional assistance;

- to create and organise events and shows in the areas of tourism, commerce, cultural, food and wine conventions, music, for companies, for sports and free time activities;

- to offer services in the areas of information and project making and the creation of informative material that is tied to the tourist industry;
